Vitality We all deserve to thrive not just survive, not only to feel better, but to be better. Too often we ignore what our bodies are telling us because we feel we don't have enough time or energy. We don't put focus on it until there is a crisis. We rush through the hours, the day, then week, and before long a year has passed, often without noticing or enjoying the small things that mean so much. Encouraging individuals to slow down, be in the present moment and experience it for the gift it is, is a huge step to them reclaiming their enjoyment and vitality.
Connection When we slow down, sit in the moment, observe ourselves, objects, and others around us, we begin to see the larger picture. We become self-full, which is the key to restoring well-being. When we are functioning optimally we can then better care for the people around us. As well we role model healthy boundaries and habits for our loved ones. When we have healthy home, work, and play environments it creates healthy communities. Every day I am amazed how much I gain by taking time to sit down with individuals, listen and care for them. Their insights, experiences, sharing in their battles and celebrations, has brought me so much knowledge and passion for what I do.
Knowledge is power Your health and well-being matters. When we take responsibility for our own states of mind we can change them for the better. As a perpetual student, I learn something for every person I cross paths with, which has provided a richness of collective and diverse experiences, and techniques to pass on to even more people, because when we know better we do better. Witnessing a person come in feeling stressed, anxious, and uncertain to walk out feeling calm, confident and excited, having gained cool insights into how exceptional they are is so richly rewarding. We are all student and teacher, challenging, stretching and deepening beliefs, becoming a better version of who we were yesterday.
